Target Audience:

The SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) training is designed for professionals currently working or aspiring to work as Scrum Masters in large-scale agile environments. It is also suitable for:

  • Current Scrum Masters looking to advance in a SAFe framework.
  • Agile team managers who want to understand the responsibilities of a Scrum Master within SAFe.
  • Agile team members aiming to take on a leadership role.

Prerequisites:

No specific prior experience is required, but it is recommended to have:

  • A basic understanding of Scrum concepts.
  • Experience working in agile teams.
  • Experience in leadership or facilitation is a plus.

Schedule and Teaching Methods

Schedule:

  • Training from 09:00 AM to 5:30 PM over 2 days.
  • A 15-minute break in the morning and afternoon.
  • A 1-hour lunch break.

Structure:

  • 100% remote training with an open camera policy.
  • Certificate of completion provided at the end of the training.
  • Maximum of 20 participants per session.
  • Registration: Open year-round, with spots allocated based on availability.
  • Access Time: Training access is guaranteed within 7 days of registration.
  • Certification: You have 30 days to complete the certification after the training ends.
  • Our remote training is accessible to people with reduced mobility and those with disabilities.

The cost of the SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) training is 1100 $ (excl. VAT) per participant. This price includes:

    Chapter 4: Program Increment (PI) Planning

    > Preparation for PI Planning.

    > Designing and reviewing PI Plans.

    > Finalizing plans and establishing business value.

    > Reviewing final plans.

    > Facilitating an effective PI Planning event.

    Chapter 5: Facilitating Iteration Execution

    > Planning and tracking iteration progress.

    > Refining the backlog.

    > Facilitating iteration reviews.

    > Promoting continuous improvement.

    > Supporting DevOps.

    Chapter 6: Completing a Program Increment

    > Coaching the Program Increment iteration.

    > Facilitating the inspection and adaptation workshop.

    Chapter 7: Preparing for the "SAFe® PO/PM" Certification Exam (Post-Training)

    > Mock exam with group feedback.

    > The exam is taken online (within a maximum of one month) in French or English.

    > Exam tips and an instructional video on how the exam works.

    > After the training, participants receive a link to the Scaled Agile Academy site, where they can take the exam.

    > The exam is a 90-minute multiple-choice test with 45 questions.

    > A minimum score of 75% is required to pass the exam.

    Evaluation

    During the training, the trainer assesses participants’ progress through quizzes, simulations, and practical exercises.

    Participants complete a skills assessment before and after the training to validate their acquired competencies.
